Hello! السلام عليكم

May peace & blessings be upon you.

Im Veida!

I am a birth and postpartum doula who serves the Bay Area. One of my many passions is providing support to women and their families during one of the most beautiful and intimate times of their lives, that of giving birth. I had a pain free unmedicated birth with my first (yes, you read that right!) and experienced a hard challenging back labor with my second. After giving birth to my second child, I knew I wanted to support women during their births and since then have pursued this dream.  I have been supporting my friends and family with their births as a community doula since 2008 and started practicing as a professional doula since 2023.

I am a professionally trained birth doula with my certification pending early 2025 through DONA International and recently became the first ever Certified VBAC Doula in all of the Bay Area through The VBAC Link. I became a VBAC-certified doula because I’m passionate about empowering women who are seeking a vaginal birth after a cesarean. I believe in giving people the knowledge, support, and confidence they need to make informed choices for their births.

I take a holistic, physiological approach to birth, supporting families who choose unmedicated, natural options, while always honoring the unique needs and preferences of each family. Whether you're planning a highly medicalized birth, a home water birth, or something in between, I’m here to provide the support you need in the way that aligns with your vision for your birth.

In 2025, I also launched Rahmah Roots — a Bay Area-based Muslim birth collective created to connect Muslim families with Muslim perinatal professionals. It serves as both a support network for birthworkers and a directory for families seeking care that is culturally rooted, faith-aligned, and community-centered.

I am so excited about this journey that I have chosen and look forward to helping many more families such as yourself with their birthing days.
